End-user license and terms of sale
Written to be read, not skimmed. If anything here is unclear, ask before you buy.

1. What you are buying
A SideMini license is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use SideMini version 1.x on Macs you personally own, on up to two Macs at the same time. Teams and companies can buy per-seat licenses by emailing support. The license is not a subscription and does not expire.
2. Trial
The trial gives you the full application for three days from the first launch on a given Mac, free of charge, so that you can verify it works with your devices before paying. Attempting to reset or extend the trial is not permitted.
3. Updates
All updates numbered 1.x are included at no extra cost. A future major version (for example 2.0) may be offered as a paid upgrade; your 1.x license keeps working regardless.
4. What you may not do
- Share, publish, resell or transfer your license key, or use it on Macs you do not own.
- Remove or circumvent the license check, or redistribute modified copies of the software.
- Use the software in a way that violates Apple’s terms for your devices or applicable law.
5. Refunds
If SideMini does not work with your Mac and iPad, email support@sidemini.com within 14 days of purchase, ideally with the Doctor report from Settings → Advanced, and we will refund the purchase in full. Refunds are processed by our payment partner to the original payment method. Consumers in the EU, UK and other jurisdictions keep any statutory rights that go beyond this.
6. Honest limitations
SideMini automates Apple’s Sidecar feature using internal macOS interfaces that Apple does not document and may change. A macOS update can stop SideMini from working until we ship a fix; we work to release fixes quickly, but cannot promise compatibility with every future macOS or iPadOS release, or with devices Apple does not list as Sidecar-compatible. Headless startup depends on macOS settings such as FileVault and automatic login, which are your decision and your responsibility to evaluate.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
The software is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and our total liability for any claim related to the software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Trademarks
SideMini is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, Mac, Mac mini, iPad, Sidecar and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.
